El ensayo propone que el posicionamiento de las teorías alternativas al desarrollo (TAD) en la discusión del contexto de crisis actual debe iniciarse revisando su paradigma dentro de las ciencias sociales. Así, primero revisa las premisas de algunas TAD (decrecimiento, posdesarrollo, ecosocialismo, buen vivir y alternativas feministas) según el marco de Burrel y Morgan (1979), de acuerdo con sus dimensiones de hipótesis sobre la naturaleza y la ciencia social. Finalmente, reflexiona sobre las implicaciones de las TAD en el contexto de la crisis socioeconómica, política y epidémica actual, ubicando convergencias y divergencias de su paradigma respecto del de las teorías económicas dominantes, y reflexionando sobre el posible avance de su agenda política.
Abstract:
The article proposes that the positioning of the alternative theories of development (TAD) in the debate of the context of the current crisis, should begin with the review of their paradigm within social sciences. Thereby, first it reviews the theoretical premises of the selected TAD (de-growing, post-development, eco-socialism, good living and feminist alternatives) in accordance with the framework of Burrel y Morgan (1979) with their assumptions about the nature of society and social science. Finally, it reflects on the implication of the TAD in the current socio-economic, political and epidemical crisis, situating convergences and divergences of its paradigms compared to those of the dominant economic theories, and by reflecting on the possible advance of its political agenda.
